ILOL is a unique not-for-profit research institute concerned with identification, examination, and evaluation of social and technological developments, trends, and practices concerning future lifestyles and social growth in rapidly changing national, regional, and global environments (www.ilol-think-tank.eu).
Special features:
- Workshop participants will be able to take part in small group discussions related to the concepts introduced in the workshop.
- At the end of the day, participants are invited to a reception which will provide an opportunity to network and share information and ideas with the workshop leaders, guest-speakers, and other participants.
- A guest-speaker specializing in legal aspects and regulations concerning protection of innovations and new technologies will meet with the participants during the reception.
- A guest-speaker, member of top committees and bodies working on policies for this field, will meet with the participants during the reception.
Objective of the workshop:
The objective of this workshop is to examine how new ideas, discoveries, inventions, and new technologies are brought from scientific or engineering laboratories into the market place. The workshop will cover the entire technology transfer process from inception to the point where products based on new technologies are introduced in the market place.
