ILOL´s CONFERENCE: RESEARCH AND COMPETITIVENESS OF CORPORATIONS23 October 2008, Prague, Czech Republic Objectives of the conference:The conference, first of its kind to be organized by ILOL, with the main goals to set a direction of future research and to present preliminary results of ongoing ILOL´s research projects was held in Prague at Congress Centre of the Czech National Bank in October 23, 2008. The conference was an opportunity for ILOL to introduce its activities to the EU functionaries, local and international corporations, academics, and others interested in cooperating with and supporting ILOL's research activities concerning health care, health care management, social marketing, development, and other related issues. Firms from a variety of industrial sectors, primarily those from the pharmaceutical industry, medical equipment manufacturers, health service institutions and construction & development had an opportunity to present summaries of their research activities.
