Technology Transfer and Innovation in Health Care for Seniors

ILOL completed a pilot research study focusing on changes in seniors' lifestyle as a result of using HOMEBRAIN.  

HOMEBRAIN is a multi-medial device representing user-friendly modern technologies on the Microsoft platform adjusted to needs of seniors.  It has been designed and developed by High Tech Park Prague and many large and middle-sized companies joined the project with their own activities.

The research project of ILOL was focusing on the senior population, that has had some experience with HOMEBRAIN  (between 3 and 6 months being volunteers).

The goal of the research was to get a deeper understanding  of the users who have learned to manage the system. Benefits and insufficiencies of the system, satisfaction of the users, and the change of their life style as a result of HOMEBRAIN usage were in the centre of the research attention.
